If you’re not running a tour for a while, hide it. It comes off your site and the marketplace, and you can show it again whenever you like. Only delete a tour you’ll never run again: deleting can’t be undone.
Hide a tour
- In your dashboard, click Tours.
- Click the tour’s name.
- Click Edit tour.
- Untick Live: show it on your site and in the marketplace.
- Click Save changes.

On Tours, the tour now shows Hidden.
What happens when it’s hidden
- It isn’t on your site or in the Tourfect marketplace, and travellers can’t send a request for it.
- Anyone who follows an old link to its page sees your site’s “page not found” page, with some of your other tours.
- Its bookings and requests stay in your dashboard, and you can still answer its requests.
- Its photos, prices, questions and marked days are all kept.
To show it again, tick Live: show it on your site and in the marketplace, then click Save changes.
Delete a tour
- Click Tours, then the tour’s name.
- Click Delete.
- Click OK to confirm.

We show “Tour deleted.” Deleting can’t be undone.
What’s deleted with it
- its photos, its questions and answers, and the days you marked on its availability
- its booking requests, including any you haven’t answered, so decline open requests first and the travellers hear from you
Its reviews stay on your site, but they’re no longer linked to a tour.
Tours with bookings
You can’t delete a tour that has bookings, including past and cancelled ones. Hide it instead. Its bookings then stay in your records, with your customers.
Send old links somewhere useful
Links to a hidden or deleted tour lead to “page not found”. To send them to another page, add a redirect:
- Before you hide or delete the tour, open it on your site with View on your site, and copy the end of its web address, like
/experiences/skellig-ring-walk. - In your dashboard, click Domains, then Redirects.
- Paste it into Old address.
- In Goes to, type where it should go instead, like another tour’s address.
- Click Add redirect.
If there’s nowhere to send them, tick Gone for good instead and leave Goes to empty. Redirects only apply where there’s no page, so if you show the tour again, its page comes back.
